Host your rehearsal dinner on the deck or in the dining area and have everyone under one roof so it’s easy to plan out those last little details. The Eco Villa also makes a great place to get ready before your wedding with lots of space for hair and make up artist as well as lovely bay windows, historic features and the beautiful garden to take wedding photos before it’s time to take off and get married!
Weddings at the Eco Villa
The Eco Villa is a gorgeous venue for small weddings right in the heart of Christchurch. This beautifully renovated 1910 Villa is opposite the Cardboard Cathedral and only 5 min walk from many of Christchurch’s best bars and restaurants. This unique venue is complete with stunning edible garden which makes the perfect backdrop for the ceremony on the outdoor deck area or utilise the 'ballroom' indoors with high ceilings and original architecture. With many lovely places to take wedding photos and close to many gorgeous Canterbury destinations the Eco Villa makes the perfect destination for your wedding.

We are just across the road from the Cardboard Cathedral, around the corner from the Rydges Hotel, and walking distance to many unique restaurants/churches/event spaces that can host ceremonies and receptions.
