FROM THE AIRPORT
Taxi
Rates vary on taxi’s depending on the time of day and traffic; it’s normally about $60 one way. There is a taxi line at the airport.
Super Shuttle
There is a shuttle which costs $19 for the first person and $5 per person after that. It takes approximately 30 mins from the Airport to the Eco Villa. Free phones are available in the Airport Arrivals hall if you have not booked prior to arrival.
Christchurch City Buses
You can catch the bus for $8.50pp. Either hop on the purple line bus to the Bus Station, then walk just a short ten minutes. Or catch the 29 bus and get off on Manchester Street, just next to the Mexico Restaurant. The number 29 bus departs the airport every 30 minutes and takes between 35 minutes or 45 minutes including walking time from the Airport to the Eco Villa depending on time of day. The 29 bus drops you closer and is quicker but there is also another bus you can catch the Airport to Sumner bus. It costs $8.50 per person to catch the public bus one way or $15 return.

FROM THE BUS STATION
We are only a ten minute walk from the bus station. However, if you have very heavy bags you can take the number 60 bus, which will take you straight to Hereford Street, almost right outside our door!
FROM THE TRAIN STATION
It's around a 50 minute walk from the station, so we recommend taking the Orange Bus Line from Lincoln Road to Gloucester Street, which is then just a 5 minute walk to the Eco Villa.
