“What a wonderful place to stay. We wanted to stay here for its ecologically sound credentials and were so impressed with the awesome attention to detail that had been undertaken. The rooms were spotlessly clean and beds were super comfy. This isn’t an old school eco concept but perfectly brought forward to combine modern design, comfort and a commitment to an environmentally sound operation.”

“The rooms are cosy, clean and thoughtfully decorated. The villa has a homely feel to it, with beautiful gardens of vegetables. And the breakfast.... Suffice to say it is THE best breakfast I’ve ever eaten in a hotel or B&B. Gourmet homemade muesli, delicious breads and jams, smoothies, milk-free yoghurts and so much more! I would go back just for that meal!”

“We loved this relaxing oasis in the center of Christchurch! This lovely place feels like home with multiple places to relax. Highlights include relaxing on the large deck, grazing in the garden for fruit or vegetables to put in the juicer, trying homemade jams, yogurts and vegan milks, and my favorite, a candle-lit bath in the private outdoor baths! The caretakers are very helpful and we highly recommend Eco Villa!!”
